It isnt working for me, it just says 'Component 'TABCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid'

Wtf does that mean?

Place the dll file in windows/system32 folder and it should work fine. If you get another dll error, just use the same method.

Hi, I'm new here and I've done everything required to use this program but I still get an error when I try to extract a POD. Which is as follows:

Run-time error '5':

Invalid procedure call or argument

What do I do? :( I'm on Windows XP.

Raynegun as far as I can recall was written in Visual Basic 6 for Win XP Service pack 1
back in 2003. Later service packs both for Visual Basic (updated Runtimes) or Win XP
service packs can cause problems.

Last time I tried to use it a while back (with the then latest available VBrun 6 runtime)
to create a pod file had problems and finally resorted to the command line options
to get it to work.
However, the mod selector Launcher function did work ok, which is what most people
would actually use Raynegun for.

You could try downloading the complete raynegun (with the runtime) and copy the included
VBrun 6 runtime dll to your Bloodrayne 1 game folder where raynegun is also located and
see if this works.
(recommend you don't copy it to your windowssystem32 folder especially if you have a more
recent runtime dll already installed there as the one included with rayngegun is probably outdated
and this could very well break other applications which require a more recent runtime version).

The Pod Tool support in Raynegun is just a GUI Interface to the included command line Pod tool
You can still use the Pod Tool command line options

Abyss' POD tool Command line help
Usage: pod <command> <arg1> [arg2] [arg3]

Commands:

-x - Extract files.
<arg1> - name of a pod file to be unpacked

Result:
file.pod.files - folder with extracted files
file.pod.head - pod file header (will be used for packing)

-l - Gives general information and filelist of pod (output to console).
<arg1> - name of a pod archive

-h - Saves header of pod into file.
<arg1> - name of a pod archive
<arg2> - name of a header file

-p - Pack all files in a folder into pod archive.
<arg1> - name of an output pod file
<arg2> - path to folder to be packed
<arg3> - name of header file (been created during extraction or -h command).

Some other possible options

Dragon Unpacker as far as I can recall should be able to extract existing pod files
http://www.elberethzone.net/
but probably not good at creating them

Can't remember if Turfter's Pod Tools (see GVZ Bloodrayne 2 Tools downloads)
also support the original Bloodrayne game.

Well I tried Dragon Unpacker and that will be enough cuz all I wanted was to rip the textures so I can use them to mod Devil May Cry 3.

Thank you very much for the help :D I may come around and make a post about the mod in question.
